Senior Integration Solutions Engineer – Construction ERP Systems
We’re hiring a Senior Integration Solutions Engineer to join our team at Built. In this role, you’ll own the full lifecycle of customer integrations that connect our platform with the ERP systems construction and real estate companies depend on—systems like Yardi, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, Brix, and Procore.
You’ll work directly with clients to understand their business needs, scope technical solutions, and deliver integrations that enable Built to become embedded in their workflows. This is a high-ownership, highly visible role at the core of how we deliver value to customers.
At Built, integrations are the top priority of our business. As we scale, seamless data flows between our platform and our customers’ systems are what make adoption possible and unlock value. Without strong integrations, nothing else works. You’ll play a critical role in bridging construction ERP systems with modern infrastructure in a fast-moving, delivery-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer-Facing Integration Leadership
-
Lead discovery sessions with clients to understand ERP workflows and integration needs.
-
Act as the technical lead during onboarding and implementation.
-
Translate business requirements into clear, executable integration designs.
Solution Architecture & Implementation
-
Design and build integrations using REST APIs, file-based workflows, and Built’s internal middleware tooling.
-
Develop integration specs, mappings, sequencing logic, and error-handling plans.
-
Configure SQL-based transformations and authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT) to support secure, bi-directional data flows.
-
Deliver integrations that are resilient, observable, and scalable post-launch.
Technical Troubleshooting & Delivery
-
Analyze and resolve integration issues under tight timelines.
-
Own timelines and scope — clearly set expectations, triage blockers early, and hold the line on delivery.
-
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence tools and frameworks based on real-world delivery needs.
Qualifications
Required
-
3+ years in integration engineering, implementation, or solutions delivery.
-
Hands-on experience integrating with construction ERP systems (Yardi, Sage, Procore, Microsoft Dynamics, Brix).
-
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and data formats (JSON, XML).
-
Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or shell.
-
Track record of owning integrations end-to-end — from discovery through deployment and post-launch support.
-
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting client needs.
-
Familiarity with middleware/iPaaS concepts (ETL/ELT pipelines, event-driven flows).
Preferred
-
Background in construction tech, real estate tech, or PropTech.
-
Experience supporting integrations for accounting, invoicing, or project management workflows.
-
Bonus: experience as a developer or architect who wants to stay hands-on while owning customer outcomes.
Attributes That Thrive Here
-
Delivery mindset — you don’t just spec solutions, you ship them.
-
Customer-first — you listen, ask smart questions, and adapt to client constraints.
-
Self-starter — you make progress even when the path isn’t clear.
-
Builder mentality — you create scalable patterns, not one-off fixes.
