About the job

Candescent, a dynamic fintech innovator and leading U.S. digital banking solutions provider, is seeking a Sales Readiness Trainer. This role will play a critical part in shaping the success of our sales organization by designing and delivering impactful training programs that drive results. From onboarding new hires to advancing the skills of seasoned sales rep, you’ll create engaging learning experiences that strengthen product knowledge, reinforce sales methodologies and improve win ratios. This is a highly collaborative role, working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing and Enablement to ensure training content is relevant, consistent and aligned with company goals. Job Summary:

This role requires an enthusiastic and skilled Sales Trainer to support the development and success of our growing sales team. Reporting to the Sales Readiness Training Manager, you will help deliver high-impact training sessions, coach reps on core sales skills, and ensure that every team member is equipped to effectively position our solutions and close deals.

Key Outcomes and Deliverables:

  • Education: Participates in the development and execution of structured learning paths and programs that align with organizational sales goals and readiness standards.
  • Collaboration: Partners with Enablement, Product, and Marketing to ensure training reflects current features, messaging and go-to-market priorities.
  • Resources and Process: Assists in maintaining and updating training materials such as slides, workbooks and exercises to ensure consistency, quality and relevance.
  • Execution: Facilitates onboarding, delivers ongoing sales training, leads role plays and supports enablement sessions at sales kick-off, workshops and webinars.
  • Training: Delivers skill-based sessions for new and existing reps, covering topics like discovery, objection handling and negotiation to build core competencies.
  • Messaging and Positioning: Trains reps on effective positioning and communication of value propositions to ensure alignment with company messaging.
  • Market Intelligence and Insights: Stays informed on evolving sales methodologies and industry best practices to ensure training remains current and competitive.
  • Effectiveness: Gathers feedback, monitors attendance and engagement and collaborates with leadership to inform ongoing training improvements.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in sales, sales enablement or training
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills—both virtual and in-person
  • Understanding of modern sales processes and tools (e.g., CRM, sales engagement platforms, MEDPICC)
  • Energetic, approachable, and committed to helping others succeed
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple sessions and tasks
  • Prior experience in SaaS or digital banking a plus
