We are seeking a forward-thinking and data-driven Director of Sales Optimization to lead initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness, streamline go-to-market execution and accelerate revenue growth. This leader will work closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Business Applications, Marketing, and other cross functional departments to truly transform and scale the sales process. The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking with operational execution, focused on maximizing impact across the full sales funnel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and refine the end-to-end sales process to reduce inefficiencies and improve conversion rates
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement best practices to enhance productivity at each stage of the sales cycle
  • Drive standardization of sales motions, playbooks, and workflows across segments and teams
  • Act as the project manager; planning, coordinating the execution, and defining project timelines across different functions in the organization to have a roadmap of what deliverables are planned for each quarter
  • Partner with leaders from the Sales organization to solve business problems with process and technology enhancements
  • Translate technology solutions into Salesforce business requirements and work with IT to develop, test, and deploy solutions
  • Provide deep Salesforce.com expertise
  • Independently lead Sales Process and Technology Optimization projects
  • Be the expert on the intersection between sales process, sales tools, Salesforce, and enablement
  • Support Salesforce data cleansing activities
  • Provide reporting and data analysis support for Sales Leadership
  • Provide escalation support for the tier one Sales Support team
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to support end-user training and communications

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Sales, Marketing, and/or Revenue Operations
  • Experience leading process optimization projects from conception through value realization
  • Experience leading Sales Technology projects
  • Highly knowledgeable in Marketing and Sales processes best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the areas of Marketing, Sales, or Business

Additionally, You May Have

  • Deep understanding of sales methodologies and sales motion design
  • Track record of driving measurable improvements in sales productivity and outcomes
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive change in complex environments
  • Experience and knowledge of these platforms:
    • Marketo
    • Salesforce CPQ
    • Incentive Compensation Management software (Forma.ai, Xactly)
    • Sales Execution Platforms (Outreach, Salesloft, etc.)
    • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator)
