Overview
The Software Solution Architect Partner leads a team of solution architects responsible for overseeing all customer solutions meet Candescent architecture standards defined by engineering and defines how our solutions will integrate into a customer’s environment. This role bridges the gap between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring architectural consistency and innovation in our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of solution architects, fostering growth and collaboration
- Oversee the design and architecture of each project across the four Candescent business solutions.
- Ensure our Candescent projects align and/or integrate with a customer’s architecture and infrastructure.
- Understand how our Candescent solutions can be implemented in a customer’s environment, considering the customers architecture, enterprise standards and business objectives
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies
- Develop and enforce architectural best practices and documentation standards
- Monitor project progress and mitigate risks related to architecture and integration
- Facilitate cross-functional communication between technical and non-technical teams
- Be the liaison between Candescent engineering teams and the Deployment teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with 2+ years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP), microservices, and enterprise frameworks
- Proficiency in software development methodologies and tools (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD)
- Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus

- Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Experience with technologies like Salesforce, Kafka, and containerization tools
- Familiarity with Agile framework and architecture governance
- Experience in the Financial Industry
