  • Lead regulatory and compliance alignment in partnership with InfoSec, Risk, and Legal teams to ensure KYC, AML, and PCI adherence globally.

  • Build and lead high-performing distributed engineering teams with strong presence in Bangalore and integration with global stakeholders.

  • Represent Candescent in customer, partner, and executive forums as the technical leader for money movement and payments.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with 7+ years in fintech, payments, or digital banking.

  • Proven track record of leading global payments platforms or money movement services at scale.

  • Experience building secure, high-availability, real-time financial systems.

  • Deep understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and certifications (PCI DSS, SOC 2, etc.).

  • Demonstrated success in hiring, scaling, and mentoring globally distributed engineering teams.

  • Previous experience building core platforms from Bangalore for global delivery is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure on GCP and AWS.

Preferred Skills
