Job Description:

Consulting with internal and external stakeholders to understand domain, customer, and strategic requirements. Translating requirements and user stories into software design, recognizing where gaps in understanding can impact code building. Designing beyond scope, if necessary, to build the right solution. Evaluating options for re-use of existing software to accelerate or improve product delivery. Ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Applying industry standards and best practices for quality testing and determining the best way to use them within the organization. Consulting with teams to collect feedback on work practices. Recommending new industry-leading practices to improve productivity and efficiency. Reviewing code to address issues using root cause analyses to eliminate them in the future. Seeking out novel and efficient ways to develop solutions and products that add value to customers. Reviewing test scripts to ensure the application is validated according to the automation test strategy. Evaluating new automation tools and technologies. Completing root cause analysis and triaging automation failures. Eliminating critical and high-priority defects, ensuring acceptance criteria are met. Understanding the product's operation, technical, and functional needs and reviewing test cases to deliver a positive end-user experience. Analyzing customer problems and developing testable theories to diagnose solutions and product code issues. Utilizing various strategies, techniques, and tools to investigate possible resolutions to solve issues. The position is eligible for part-time telecommuting.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent* in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related technical field and two (2) years of experience in a systems analysis or development occupation.

Experience must include:

• Two (2) years of experience applying industry standards and best practices for quality testing.

• Two (2) years of experience reviewing test scripts to ensure the application is validated.

• Two (2) years of experience eliminating critical and high-priority defects, ensuring acceptance criteria are met. • Two (2) years of experience utilizing various strategies, techniques, and tools to investigate possible resolutions to solve issues.

OR

Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent* in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related technical field and demonstrated knowledge** of the following:

• Systems analysis or development.

• Applying industry standards and best practices for quality testing.

• Reviewing test scripts to ensure the application is validated.

• Eliminating critical and high-priority defects, ensuring acceptance criteria are met.

• Utilizing various strategies, techniques, and tools to investigate possible resolutions to solve issues.

*Any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of an U.S. degree will be accepted.

**Knowledge can be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience.
