Job Description:
Analyze, design, and develop cross-cutting and complex technical solutions for enterprise-level application integration patterns. Integrate, analyze, and code in Java, Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) technologies. Develop and deliver complex software solutions. Develop Web Services (REST/SOAP) technologies. Conduct unit testing using JUnit. Conduct performance tuning, optimization, and development with high volume/concurrent user load services. Perform large-scale software systems design. Follow Agile methodologies across projects to plan, design, and implement project deliverables. Provide systems integration with web services and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Conduct software technology evaluations, software architecture and software architecture reviews. Provide technical leadership and guidance to other software engineers. Create design specifications for software projects. Deployment of all the newly implemented services and support in the Cloud Platform. Continuously assess individual and team performance and provide timely, constructive feedback relative to both. Work with Product Owners to understand new requirements and come up with designs to address the requirements. Answer customer questions about the existing solution and enhancements to address new requirements from prospects. Other duties as assigned Supervise 6 to 12 employees. Up to 10 percent domestic and international travel. The position is eligible for part-time telecommuting.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field and eight (8) years of experience in a systems analysis or development occupation. The required experience must include the following:
- Eight (8) years of experience utilizing Object-Oriented Design principles and Java/Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (JEE) technologies (Java, Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, or similar).
- Eight (8) years of experience with REST/SOAP technologies using Spring, Hibernate, XML, XSD, JSON, JAXB, XPath, or XQuery.
- Eight (8) years of experience with Agile Methodologies.
- Eight (8) years of experience utilizing continuous integration and open-source technologies like Junit, JMeter, or similar.
- Eight (8) years of experience with Dev2Deploy (D2D) tools.
- Eight (8) years of experience performing and coordinating performance analysis and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks to ensure a high-performance system.
- Eight (8) years of experience performing code reviews to ensure quality standards.
- Eight (8) years of experience working with Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data.
- Eight (8) years of experience with analyzing financial data.
- Three (3) years of experience using cloud-native services in Cloud Platform.
- Three (3) years of experience of employee supervision. Core computer science fundamentals including common data structures, algorithms, and concurrent programming.
OR
Master's Degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field and six (6) years of progressive experience in systems analysis or development occupation. The required experience must include the following:
- Six (6) years of experience utilizing Object-Oriented Design principles and Java/Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (JEE) technologies (Java, Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, or similar).
- Six (6) years of experience with REST/SOAP technologies using Spring, Hibernate, XML, XSD, JSON, JAXB, XPath, or XQuery.
- Six (6) years of experience with Agile Methodologies.
- Six (6) years of experience utilizing continuous integration and open-source technologies like Junit, JMeter, or similar.
