SW Engineer II (f/t)

Job Description:

Design, modify, implement, and document changes to software applications. Analyze, program, debug, and modify computer programs for urgent customer requirements. Ensure interoperability with third-party products, operating systems, and existing software. Take responsibility for assigned tasks, using experience and knowledge of the environment to make effective development decisions. Part-time telecommuting is permitted.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent* in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or closely related technical field and two (2) years of experience in an API and Cloud programming occupation. Experience must include:

• Two (2) years of experience in one or more computer programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML, C++, or CSS.
• Two (2) years of experience in REST APls and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Two (2) years of experience in core computer science fundamentals such as common data structures, algorithms, and concurrent programming.
• Two (2) years of experience in Google Cloud Platform in Cloud SQL, PostgreSQL, BigTable, BigQuery, DataFlows, Pub/Subs.
• Two (2) years of experience in Cl/CD pipeline and ArgoCD.

*Any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of an U.S. degree will be accepted.

OR

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent* in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or closely related technical field and demonstrated knowledge** of:

• API and Cloud programming occupation
• One or more computer programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML, C++, or CSS.
• REST APls and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
