Role overview
Candescent is building its India presence across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. We want to be the company serious builders choose. As Employer Brand and Communications Lead, India, you will shape how Candescent shows up in the market, in our offices, and online. You will work with the GM India, Talent, HR, and global leadership to make our stories visible and believable.
What you will own
- Employer brand narrative for India
Craft a simple story for why Candescent. Product first, mission, technology, learning, culture. Ensure consistent use across JD, decks, interviews, and onboarding. - Content and social presence
Plan and publish high quality content on LinkedIn and YouTube. Founder and leader posts, engineering blogs, short videos, employee stories, event recaps. - Tech and talent events
Design and run meetups, tech talks, Builders Day highlights, campus events, and community partnerships that attract senior and early talent. - Glassdoor and candidate experience
Monitor feedback, partner with HR and TA to respond with clarity and respect, and feed insights into real improvements. No astroturfing. Build trust. - Internal storytelling
Support all hands, town halls, new joiner experiences, and recognition programs so people inside the company feel the same story we tell outside. - Brand guardrails
Work with global brand and legal to keep visual and verbal identity aligned while adding an authentic India voice. - Measurement
Define and track simple metrics. Traffic and applies, quality of candidates, senior accept rate, event engagement, Glassdoor trend, social reach and saves, content consistency.
You will work closely with
- GM India for strategy, priorities, and narrative
- Talent Acquisition for campaigns and sourcing
- HR and L and D for culture, onboarding, leadership stories
- Product and Engineering leaders for technical content and showcases
- Global Brand and Communications for alignment
What you bring
- Experience in employer branding or marketing or communications for a tech or product company
- Strong writing and storytelling in clear, simple English
- Ability to work with senior leaders and turn their thoughts into sharp content
- Comfort with LinkedIn, YouTube, short form video, and event formats
- Taste for design and detail, ability to brief designers and agencies well
- Bias for data and experimentation. Test, learn, and scale what works
- High integrity. You show the real company and help make it better
