We’re seeking a Director of Digital Experience to own the strategy, design, and performance of Candescent.com — our most visible expression of the brand and one of our highest-impact growth channels. This leader will ensure our digital presence inspires confidence, fuels engagement and demand, and continuously evolves through insight, experimentation, and design excellence.
The ideal candidate brings creativity, technical fluency, and analytical rigor. They see the website not as a static destination, but as a dynamic, measurable experience that bridges storytelling, education, and pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Ownership
- Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution for Candescent.com, ensuring the site reflects our Intelligent Banking narrative and supports brand, growth, and client-engagement goals.
- Partner with Growth, Brand, Product Marketing, and Experiential teams to bring stories, campaigns, and flagship moments (including Axis) to life across the site.
- Define and enforce the site’s information architecture, UX design principles, accessibility standards, and content governance model.
Performance & Optimization
- Establish and own KPIs for site performance, including traffic growth, conversion, SEO authority, engagement depth, and content effectiveness.
- Drive a test-and-learn culture with a focus on behavioral insights, experimentation, and continuous optimization across key user journeys.
- Own SEO strategy and execution to increase visibility across priority solution areas, partners, use cases, and thought leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Brand & Communications to ensure all content and design reflect our visual identity, tone, and Intelligent Banking positioning.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Experiential teams to deliver cohesive digital expressions of product launches, announcements, and event moments.
- Work with Marketing Operations & Intelligence to ensure proper analytics tagging, attribution, funnel tracking, and reporting.
Technology & Operations
- Lead the website’s CMS strategy, workflows, integrations, and vendor relationships (design, development, analytics, hosting).
- Partner with IT and Security to maintain reliability, scalability, performance, and compliance with data, privacy, and accessibility standards.
- Own the roadmap for continuous site improvements, including personalization, localization, site speed, performance tuning, and AI-driven content experiences.
Qualifications
- 10–12+ years of experience in digital marketing, web experience, or growth marketing roles, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, or enterprise technology.
- Proven success managing large-scale corporate websites with measurable commercial impact.
- Deep understanding of UX/UI, SEO, analytics, experimentation frameworks, and conversion optimization.
- Hands-on experience with modern CMS platforms (Contentful, WordPress, Sitecore, or similar), analytics tools, and integrated martech stacks.
- Strong, collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence cross-functional creative, technical, and executive stakeholders.
- Data-driven decision maker with strong storytelling instincts and a passion for elevating digital experiences.
