Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Program Ownership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts focused on digital banking and branch profitability analytics.
  • Define standards, frameworks, and repeatable processes for Profitability Studies and other client-facing analyses.
  • Establish metrics for team performance, study quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that promotes analytical rigor and consultative excellence.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Oversee client engagements from kickoff through delivery—ensuring insights are accurate, actionable, and aligned to each financial institution’s goals.
  • Act as a senior advisor to C-suite, executives, and stakeholders, helping them interpret study findings and shape strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales and Solution Consulting leadership to position Profitability Studies as a strategic differentiator and value add in pre-sales conversations.

Data Strategy & Analysis Oversight

  • Guide the creation of complex data models that integrate inputs from digital banking platforms, core systems, and operational data sources.
  • Validate data integrity, ensure alignment with business objectives, and review analytical methodologies.
  • Translate quantitative findings into clear business narratives that drive executive decision-making.
  • Partner with data science and engineering teams to evolve the data infrastructure supporting these studies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Solution Consulting, Solution Architecture, and Client Success teams to align findings with roadmap and implementation strategies.
  • Provide structured client feedback to enhance digital banking capabilities and branch modernization initiatives.
  • Work with Marketing to develop thought leadership content showcasing insights and industry trends.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain a repository of reusable dashboards, templates, and presentations to improve study efficiency and quality.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives that increase throughput and consistency across all client analyses.
  • Support business forecasting by tracking study demand, capacity, and resource allocation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial services analytics, including 2–3 years leading teams.
  • Deep understanding of credit union and banking operations across digital, branch, and contact center channels.
  • Proven ability to translate data into strategic insights for C-suite, executive, and stakeholder audiences.
  • Expertise with data visualization and analytical tools (e.g., Google Looker, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Excel).
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to distill complexity into executive-ready insights.
  • Experience managing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously.
