Job Title: Agile Center of Expertise (CoE) Lead Agilist
Location: Hyderabad
Reports to: VP, Head of Agile
Overview
The Agile CoE Leader is responsible for leading business transformation across the portfolio, taking direction from the Portfolio Leadership Team. This role ensures the organization evolves its ways of working to achieve strategic objectives, embedding agility into culture, governance, and delivery. The Agile CoE Leader manages a small group of specialized Enterprise Agile Coaches, each providing expertise in areas such as product management, technical engineering practices, lean UX, architecture, and leadership agility. Together, this team partners with Lead Agilists, the VMO Leader, and senior executives to accelerate transformation and ensure agility scales sustainably and consistently.
Key Responsibilities
Translate Portfolio Leadership Team direction into actionable transformation initiatives across the portfolio.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Enterprise Agile Coaches with specialized expertise (e.g., product management, technical practices, lean UX, architecture, design).
Define and evolve Radiance frameworks, standards, and playbooks for scaling agility.
Collaborate with Lead Agilists to ensure practices are consistently applied across products and portfolio areas.
Partner with the VMO Leader to align business transformation with portfolio governance, funding, and flow management.
Drive training programs, workshops, and enablement plans that strengthen organizational agility.
Track organizational maturity and provide actionable insights for Inspect & Adapt at the portfolio level.
Research and integrate modern Agile practices and scaling approaches.
Act as a trusted advisor to executives and senior leaders, coaching them in agile leadership and cultural change.
Partner with HR, Product, and Engineering leadership to align career paths, role expectations, and performance models for Agilists.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in enterprise Agile leadership, including large-scale transformation roles.
Proven expertise in scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, or equivalent) and tailoring them to organizational needs.
Experience managing and developing specialized Enterprise Agile Coaches.
Strong track record of designing and leading organizational change initiatives across portfolios.
Executive-level facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in fintech, SaaS, or other high-growth technology environments.
Certifications such as SAFe SPC, ICAgile Coaching certifications, or equivalent.
Familiarity with lean portfolio management, DevOps practices, and modern product development.
Demonstrated thought leadership in Agile (e.g., publications, conferences, community leadership).
