Candescent is currently searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Salesforce Consultant to support the ongoing administration, analysis, and optimization of our Salesforce platform. This role is responsible for partnering with business stakeholders to understand requirements, supporting configuration and reporting needs, assisting with user support, and helping ensure data quality and platform usability across Sales, Service, and related teams.

The ideal candidate is a curious, organized professional early in their Salesforce career who is eager to learn, comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up style / private equity environment, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

• Support the analysis and documentation of business requirements by partnering with stakeholders to understand processes, challenges, and Salesforce-related needs.

• Assist in translating business requirements into Salesforce solutions by supporting configuration efforts, reporting, and system enhancements under the guidance of senior Salesforce team members.

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of Salesforce reports and dashboards to support operational visibility and data-driven decision making.

• Support data quality, consistency, and usability within Salesforce by assisting with validation, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform hygiene.

• Participate in testing activities, including functional testing and user acceptance testing, to ensure Salesforce enhancements meet business requirements.

• Provide day-to-day Salesforce user support, serving as an initial point of contact for questions and issues, and escalating more complex items as needed.

• Maintain clear documentation related to requirements, processes, and Salesforce changes to support knowledge sharing and continuity.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving, private equity-backed environment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce analyst.

  • Salesforce Admin certification is not required, but strongly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship.
