Candescent is currently searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Billing and Revenue Specialist. This position is part of the Enterprise IT Team. This position entails supporting business stakeholders involved with our monthly Customer Billing and Revenue Recognition functions. This is a hybrid operational and technical role requiring business experience executing and supporting monthly bill runs and revenue recognition. This is Revenue Lifecycle Management from a system-standpoint involving Zuora Billing and Revenue.

The ideal candidate is a self-starting, disciplined, and organized professional with a proven background executing and supporting Bill Runs on a Cloud Platform. This is a mid-Level role with a primary focus on Zuora Billing and Revenue. The candidate should be eager to learn, comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up style / private equity environment, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

• Support monthly Zuora Bill Runs including Usage File uploads, CPI Rate updates, and executing Bill Runs.

· Supporting monthly Revenue Recognition function.

· Ability to facilitate Configuration changes or Customizations in Zuora by documenting business requirements and translating these to a technical solution and operational business process.

· This is a hand’s-on position, not oversight.

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of Zuora Billing and Revenue reports and dashboards to support operational visibility and data-driven decision making.

• Support data quality, consistency, and usability within Zuora Billing and Revenue by assisting with validation, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform hygiene.

• Provide day-to-day Zuora Billing user support, serving as an initial point of contact for questions and issues, and escalating more complex items as needed. Tracking of all request from Business Partners is required.

• Maintain clear documentation related to requirements, processes, and Zuora Billing and Revenue changes to support knowledge sharing and continuity.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving, private equity-backed environment.

· Learn how to build custom reports in Concur.

Qualifications and Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred but not required.

· Ability to configure Zuora Billing including Products, Rate Plans and Charges, and Revenue Accounts.

· Ability to configure Zuora Revenue to ensure accurate Revenue Recognition.

· Experience with the Zuora DataLoader and Deployment Manager tools.

· Minimum 5 years of experience is required in the following areas:

o Understanding of Revenue Lifecycle Management from Customer Acquisition through Revenue Recognition from an operational and technical standpoint.

o Ability to troubleshoot unexpected results during Bill Runs and Revenue Recognition.

· Zuora Certifications preferred but not required.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship.
