Job Description:

• Design and implement scalable, cloud-native infrastructure and backend services
• Develop automation frameworks and CI/CD deployment pipelines to streamline application deployment and cloud provisioning
• Build internal tools and systems for monitoring, alerting, and observability, including real-user simulation and synthetic checks
• Create and maintain data pipelines and dashboards to surface application performance insights and support service-level objectives (SLOs). Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and architects to design systems with reliability, scalability, and maintainability in mind.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, write design documents, and participate in code reviews. Write clean, testable, and maintainable code for backend systems and developer tooling Deploy and operate applications in public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
• The position is eligible for part-time telecommuting.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science or a related technical field and demonstrated knowledge** of the following:

• Writing scripts or backend tools in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
• Building CI/CD pipelines for code and infrastructure delivery.
• Designing and supporting production-level containerized applications in cloud.
• Developing monitoring systems and observability tools for distributed systems.
• Cloud platforms (GCP or AWS) including VPC, networking and managed services.

*Any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of an U.S. degree will be accepted. **Knowledge can be demonstrated through education, training, and/or experience. References required.
