Who do we need, and why?
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join on a maternity cover to ensure the seamless continuity of our financial operations.
This role will own critical functions assisting with; professionalising our transaction cycles, and ensuring our rigorous month-end process continues to run smoothly.
Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager
This role will play a critical role in our operation stability and strategic decision making. Key responsibilities will include:
Improve the Order-to-cash cycle: By owning the full order-to-cash cycle (billing, revenue recognition, collections), they will ensure we are invoicing accurately and collecting cash efficiently, directly strengthening our financial position.
Enable Data-Driven Decisions: By project managing a timely and accurate month-end close to an audit ready standard, they will provide the leadership team with reliable financial data, which is crucial for budgeting and forecasting.
Owning Finance Operations: By managing sales tax compliance, payroll, and accounts payable, they will ensure we meet our statutory obligations, reducing financial and reputational risk as we grow.
Create Scalable Foundations: This individual will build and refine the processes that underpin our financial health, allowing the rest of the business to operate and expand with confidence.

Able to handle and resolve conflict effectively from discussing overdue invoices with customers through to presenting financial results.

Excellent at working cross functionally, specifically with the People team for payroll and GTM for order-to-cash.
A genuine interest and knowledge of the FinTech/Saas industry including nuances of SaaS accounting.

Compensation Range: £68K - £75K
