Description

As a Sales Intern at Island, you will gain hands-on experience in sales while working with business development teams across various territories. This entry-level role is part of the Island sales organization and focuses on generating and qualifying prospective customer leads. This internship is Dallas based and applicants should expect to be in the office every day for the duration of the internship. This internship program is a feeder program for Island’s BDR program; so the hiring focus will be on rising seniors.Responsibilities:

  • Qualify Leads: Work on leads generated from marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Account Research: Identify decision-makers and create account plans.
  • Sales Collaboration: Partner with sales teams to develop additional leads.
  • Presentations: Learn to deliver the Island corporate pitch.
  • Shadowing: Observe sales reps and campaigns to learn strategies.

Past Projects:

  • Conduct account research.
  • Assist in marketing campaigns to generate leads.
  • Engage with prospective customers and call on leads.

Program Highlights:

Compensation:

  • $4,000 per month.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate degree program (GPA 3.0+), a 2-year master’s program, or a doctorate degree.
  • Returning to school in the fall of 2025.
  • Authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship provided).
  • Interest in sales and cybersecurity; strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
