Sales Development Representative
Middesk’s mission is to make it easier for businesses to work together through building the best-in-class business identity platform. Our APIs allow B2B companies to access the information, insights, and documentation they need to onboard and transact with their customers. Our products help product, risk, and finance teams make informed regulatory compliance and commercial credit decisions, confirm that suppliers meet federal and state licensing requirements, and register their customers with the necessary government agencies.
Middesk is looking for a high-energy, driven professional with business acumen, technical aptitude and sales instincts to join our competitive Sales organization as a Sales Development Representative (SDR).
As an SDR, your primary responsibility will be to uncover and qualify new opportunities within Middesk’s target market, focusing on the banking, lending, and payments verticals. Since our SDRs serve as the first point of contact for prospects and customers, your success will be measured by efficient prospecting and outbound efforts to break into new accounts, build relationships across all levels of our customer segments, and create opportunities that drive new business.

What You'll Do
Drive lead generation and cultivate enduring relationships through strategic outreach, leveraging our tech stack and various channels.
Strategically target accounts, creating a personalized outbound approach for key prospects and decision-makers.
Identify prospective customer’s needs and present Middesk’s products and services as solutions, drawing on extensive knowledge and research to explain how our offerings meet their needs.
Become a product expert who is knowledgeable about customer’s needs and can easily convey how our solutions uniquely address their most pressing challenges.
Develop detailed plans to achieve predetermined goals and quotas on a quarterly basis.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience of at least 6 mo-1 year in SaaS Sales Development or similar role. We’re looking for a highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record of success in sales.
Comfortable cold calling, prospecting, and conducting thorough outreach using tools like Salesforce, Salesloft, LeadIQ, and/or LinkedIn Sales Navigator. A proven track record of achieving sales metrics and consistent achievement of quota attainment makes for an ideal candidate.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Your primary charter is to talk to our prospects. Whatever form of communication that requires, you must represent yourself, the team, Middesk, and our customers well. Clear, concise, actionable communication is imperative.
The ability to work in a fast paced, team environment. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated the ability to problem solve autonomously, manage your time well, and remain organized. When faced with challenges, you’ll take initiative to resolve them and deliver your best work.

Someone based in the NYC area and excited to be working in the office. Middesk is a hybrid company and as an SDR you would be expected to be in-office 4-5 days per week.
