Our APIs allow B2B companies to access the information, insights, and documentation they need to onboard and transact with their customers. Our products help product, risk, and finance teams make informed regulatory compliance and commercial credit decisions, confirm that suppliers meet federal and state licensing requirements, and register their customers with the necessary government agencies.

The Role

Middesk is looking for a high-energy, driven professional with business acumen, technical aptitude and sales instincts to join our competitive Sales organization as an Account Executive.

As a member of the growing Sales Team, you will help us execute, iterate, and evolve our GTM strategy and approach. While the focus will be on direct sales, you will also work cross-functionally with all teams at Middesk to enhance our understanding of customers, their value, and product needs.

Your primary responsibility will be to uncover and qualify new opportunities within Middesk’s target market, focusing on the banking, lending, fintech and payments verticals. Your success will be measured by your ability to close new business and expand existing customers, generate strong pipeline, and ability to collaborate internally across solutions engineering, product and revenue operations,

What You'll Do:

  • Acquire key deals and logos across our target GTM segments.

  • Impact the trajectory and growth of Middesk significantly.

  • Build a strong feedback loop between GTM, operational, and product/engineering teams, directly influencing our product strategy.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1-2 years of experience in closing software or other complex sales.

  • Emphasis on outbound-focused sales strategies.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical stakeholders.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, ownership mentality, and proactive work style.

  • Demonstrated success in exceeding revenue goals.

  • Comfortable in a dynamic startup environment.

  • Focus on achieving a deep understanding of business problems and potential solutions.

  • Eager to learn and improve.

  • Someone based in the NYC area and excited to be working in the office. Middesk is a hybrid company and as an AE you would be expected to be in-office 2-3 days per week.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience in financial services or FinTech
