As an Account Executive, you will carry quota for our strategic accounts, and be part of a high-achieving hunter professional sales team working with FI and Fintech clients.

Job Duties

  • Sell MX products to C-level prospects at financial institutions, creating new account relationships.

  • Conduct thorough needs analysis and product presentations to clearly articulate the value proposition and address the unique requirements of each prospect.

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the financial services industry, market trends, and competitors to effectively position our offerings as the superior choice.

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with decision-makers, influencers and stakeholders to sell MX products and services.

  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to maximize profitability while meeting customer expectations.

  • Skillfully navigate objections and overcome challenges to advance deals through the sales cycle.

  • Manage entire sales process to ensure delivery against performance metrics with a strong emphasis on new business goals.

  • Guide prospective clients through detailed presentations of SaaS solutions (in person and remote).

  • Utilize CRM tools and other sales technology to manage and document sales activities, track progress, and generate accurate forecasts.

  • Attend industry events to prospect and network with clients.

  • Collaborate with finance, legal and marketing to ensure a smooth and expedited process.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience selling products and services and developing new account relationships in the Financial Institution sector (Tier 1 Banking)

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals and objectives.

  • SaaS enterprise level sales experience.

  • Experience with complex tech sales (12-18 months)

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Travel is required.

  • Align with MX corporate values.

Work Environment

At MX, we utilize a hybrid work model, which allows us to attract top talent and increase impact through collaboration. Our team members enjoy a balance of remote work and in-office days. Travel expectations for remote employees is about 15%, and the company covers travel expenses for remote employees. Local employees will utilize in-office time on a weekly basis Tuesday through Thursday. Both local and remote employees can take advantage of our incredible office space with onside perks like company-paid meals, onsite massage therapist, golf simulator, and meditation room to name a few.


The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $102,500-$246,000. This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.
