You’ll be a part of a team that is changing the world of Open Finance. You’ll get to immerse yourself in the world of financial data connections between financial institutions, intermediaries (like MX!) and fintechs. We are on a mission to connect all of these pieces together in a simple, intuitive experience where clients and developers can easily enable MX products and immediately provide benefits to their customers.

Job Duties

  • Strategize with product managers, developers and tech writers to determine high level vision, strategy and goals of products.

  • Drive research efforts and prioritize customer insights using research best practices.

  • Construct user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts for validation.

  • Provide design direction and feedback to other designers on the team.

  • Mentor and guide other designers. Lead by example and help them grow and develop.

  • Contribute to and positively shape the design team’s culture through collaboration, feedback, and process iteration.

Basic Requirements

  • 8+ years relevant experience designing digital products and systems preferred.

  • Experience owning product design strategy from start to finish.

  • Lead and contribute visual and technical direction for our design system.

  • Ability to impact both user and business goals.

  • Experience supporting multiple teams while balancing big picture thinking with execution work.

Advanced Requirements (preferred but not required)

  • You have experience in fintech and/or have development experience.

  • You have experience working in a regulated environment

Work Environment

At MX, we utilize a hybrid work model, which allows us to attract top talent and increase impact through collaboration. Our team members enjoy a balance of remote work and in-office days. Travel expectations for remote employees is about 15%, and the company covers travel expenses for remote employees. Local employees will utilize in-office time on a weekly basis Tuesday through Thursday. Both local and remote employees can take advantage of our incredible office space with onside perks like company-paid meals, onsite massage therapist, golf simulator, and meditation room to name a few.

Compensation

The expected earnings for this role could be comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions as applicable. The base salary is $132,500 to $159,000.

This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.
