The VP, Partnership Sales will be responsible for driving new sales through partnerships. This role will focus on developing strategic initiatives to expand MX’s market presence and generate new business opportunities with sell through and sell with partners.

Job Duties

  • Lead and mentor a knowledgeable and high-execution Partners sales team.
  • Develop and scale strategic partner initiatives that drive MX net-new partner business and support partner GTM strategies.
  • Clearly articulate MX product value to peers, clients, partners, and industry leaders.
  • Negotiate emerging market partnership agreements that deliver on expected outcomes.
  • Identify innovative ways to reach prospective customers and new markets.
  • Cultivate and develop the emerging markets partner ecosystem into a predictable revenue stream and strategic advantage for MX and its partners.
  • Develop measurement plans and routinely communicate the impact of strategic programs to the leadership team.
  • Make data-driven decisions to improve processes, tools, and templates to reduce friction and remove roadblocks.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and take necessary actions to achieve incremental goals for partner bookings.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across MX.
  • Coordinate with sales leadership and Account Executives to deliver strategic plans.

Requirements

  • 15+ years in business development or sales partnership roles in the FI and Fintech industry.
  • 10+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong analysis, clear and direct communication.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships, advocates, and champions.
  • Thought leadership in open banking, micro-services architecture, and cloud economics.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills that inspire trust and credibility with all levels of individuals, both inside and outside the company.

Compensation

The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $200,000 to $250,000 . This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.

At MX, we seek to hire candidates who drive results and achieve successful outcomes. We utilize a hybrid work arrangement style, which may require both local and remote team members to be in the office when necessary, to kick off projects, hold cross team strategy meetings, or complete key deliverables. Remote team members will travel into the office four times per year, and MX covers travel expenses associated with this requirement.
