Job Summary
Are you looking for a fun and challenging job in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have an immediate need for a Workday Financials Analyst. As a collaborative partner with the Accounting department, you play a key role in Financials system development and efficiency. Reporting to the Business Automations Development Manager, you’ll be champion of Workday Financial functions and enhancing business effectiveness. We treat each team member as a founder, and the right candidate is a smart and creative builder, who is passionate about Accounting business and can drive Workday's continuous configuration and process efficiencies.
Job Duties
Work with a team of talented professionals across all business functions to build MX for the future.
Consult as the system expert with internal stakeholders to find solutions for any system challenges, changes, and Workday process issues.
Analyze all Workday Financials reports, business processes, applications, integrations and user interfaces.
Ensure data integrity exists and persists for all inputs, outputs and throughout not only Workday but other systems and processes.
Consistently work with functional leads to identify opportunities for improvement, help prioritize projects and implement necessary changes.
Help develop, implement, tune, and harden Financial business processes.
Own change management for the Workday Financial domain.
Coordinate all changes with other functional area Workday engineers using the touchpoints kit.
Assist and cover for other Workday engineers on larger and or high priority projects and tasks.
Escalate issues as a Named Support Contact with Workday.
Ensure Workday new releases are tested and go-live successfully in production.
Help lead security audits for permissioning.
Develop Workday Financial user persona’s and ensure all stakeholders are represented.
Drive up Workday user experience satisfaction. Create raving fans.
Collaborate with Corporate Accounting in identifying and designing outstanding training modules as well as the delivery of Workday training.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or a related field.
Workday and related Accounting certifications.
Innate aptitude for all things Workday.
3+ years of successful experience implementing and building in Workday Financials preferred.
Solid understanding of Accounting, GAAP, and related fields.
Workday Payroll and HCM experience as an added bonus.
Thirst for perfection through iterative improvement.
Formal project work experience.
Strong communication skills and team collaborative ability.
Compensation
The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $97,000 to $116,250. This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.

We utilize a hybrid work arrangement style, which may require both local and remote team members to be in the office when necessary, to kick off projects, hold cross team strategy meetings, or complete key deliverables. Remote team members will travel into the office four times per year, and MX covers travel expenses associated with this requirement.
