The Sr Solution Consultant acts as a trusted advisor to clients, bridging the gap between technical solutions and measurable business requirements. The Solution Consultant collaborates with customers and internal teams to deliver engaging stories and custom-built demonstrations to highlight solutions that align with customer needs, helping drive client satisfaction and business growth.
The SC will also work to articulate the value of the Proof solutions, quantify business impact, and support customers in achieving return on investment (ROI). This role involves analyzing business processes, understanding customer challenges, and delivering data-driven insights to demonstrate how solutions align with strategic business goals and drive value.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Vice President, Solution Consulting.

What you’ll do as a Senior Solutions Consultant at Proof:
- Solution Alignment & Storytelling:
- Identify and understand customer business challenges, goals, and technical requirements.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for stakeholders through delivering presentations and demonstrations, technical Q&A, workshops, business process diagrams, and product roadmap discussions for clients to showcase realized value to address the specific needs of each client and drive the success of Proof's products.
- Develop narratives that clearly articulate how to align technical solutions with customer business objectives, challenges and outcomes.
- Establish technical credibility and serve as a subject matter expert as a key resource for clients and internal teams, providing expert knowledge and insights on Proof's products, industry trends, and best practices.
- Business Value Assessment:
- Develop business value assessments and ROI analyses tailored to client needs.
- Conduct discovery sessions and workshops to identify challenges, business priorities to then develop benchmarks and KPIs to measure the success and impact of solutions.
- Articulate selected recommendations and the business value they deliver to diverse audiences
- Pre-Sales Support:
- Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities and provide technical expertise during sales cycles.
- Develop and manage proof of concepts (POCs), and work with Professional services to build statements of work (SOWs).Manage and respond to complex RFx/ProposalsDevelop detailed documentation, including solution design, technical architecture and assist with ROI development.
- Technical Expertise:
- This role requires a deep understanding of technology and the ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate the features and capabilities of Proof’s solutions to clients.
- Address technical queries and resolve pre-sales customer concerns effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes.
- Collaboration, Communication & Thought Leadership:
- Communicate customer feedback to internal teams for product improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: This role will require working closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to meeting client needs and ensure alignment on solution strategies.
- Present and demonstrate Proof solutions at industry events
- Assist in training and enabling the Sales teams on Proof solutions
What we’re looking for:
- 12+ years relevant work experience
- 5+ years experience in a technical Pre-Sales role selling enterprise level software
- BS/BA degree or equivalent in relevant work experience
- Familiarity with system integration methods such as web services, REST APIs, webhooks, etc
- Proficient in delivering software demonstrations in person and virtually
Even better if you have:
- 7+ years experience in a technical Pre-Sales role selling enterprise level software, or relevant experience
- Demonstrable experience working with employees at all levels of an organization
