About the Role

We’re looking for an Enterprise Sales Engineer to support new and existing business by demonstrating SmartSuite’s platform across complex, enterprise use cases — with a strong focus on GRC and IT Service Management (ITSM).

In this role, you’ll partner closely with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, design solutions, and deliver compelling demonstrations that show how SmartSuite can support GRC, resilience, ITSM, PMO, and business operations workflows. You’ll work directly with customer stakeholders across risk, compliance, audit, IT, security, and operations, translating their requirements into clear, value-driven platform demonstrations.

This is a highly customer-facing role that blends GRC domain knowledge, technical solutioning, and storytelling. You’ll be responsible for running tailored demos, supporting proof-of-concepts (POCs), and helping customers envision SmartSuite as a long-term enterprise platform.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • Partner / Collaborate with Account Executives to support new business and expansion opportunities across enterprise accounts
  • Lead / Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand customer GRC, ITSM, resilience, and operational workflows
  • Design / Deliver live product demonstrations (virtual and onsite) aligned to customer use cases and buying criteria
  • Build / Configure proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate SmartSuite’s fit for complex enterprise requirements
  • Demonstrate solutions across GRC, Business Resilience, ITSM, PMO, and Business Operations, with emphasis on GRC and ITSM workflows
  • Translate customer requirements into clear solution architectures and demo narratives
  • Support / Answer technical and functional questions during evaluations, security reviews, and stakeholder discussions
  • Collaborate / Share customer feedback with Product, Sales, and Solutions teams to influence roadmap and positioning
  • Maintain / Improve demo environments, templates, and solution assets to support sales efficiency

What You Bring

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar pre-sales role in B2B SaaS
  • Strong working knowledge of GRC processes (risk management, compliance frameworks, audits, controls)
  • Experience with ITSM concepts such as incident, problem, change, and service request management
  • Ability to demonstrate and explain solutions across GRC, ITSM, resilience, PMO, and business operations platforms
  • Hands-on experience delivering tailored demos and supporting customer proof-of-concepts
  • Comfort working with enterprise customers and multiple stakeholder groups (business and technical)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Experience supporting both new business sales cycles and existing customer expansions
  • Willingness to conduct onsite and virtual demos as needed
  • A collaborative, adaptable mindset suited for a fast-growing SaaS environment
